Inclusive education as inalienable right of diversity
Keywords:
functional diversity, inclusion education, human continousAbstract
Education is not merely an option for children, adolescents, and adults with diverse needs—such as those with functional diversity—but a right and a necessity that must be guaranteed and met. Hence the importance of having educational facilities and institutions equipped with resources that align with an inclusive educational model rather than a mere integration model, thereby providing a timely response to those who consistently seek education based on equal opportunities for all. In practice, addressing such diversity requires technical-administrative and pedagogical strategies; it is therefore imperative that the governing educational authority outlines specific actions to benefit this segment of the population. In this regard, certain onto-epistemological foundations are established regarding an approach to inclusive education for functional diversity across the human continuum.Downloads
