Publicaciones en Ciencias y Tecnología is an open access scientific journal, peer-reviewed and indexed, published twice a year. Founded in 2007, it is published in the Deanship of Sciences and Technology of the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA), Barquisimeto, Venezuela. It publishes original and unpublished works written in Spanish or English. The areas of disclosure are exact sciences, earth sciences, and engineering.

PUBLICATION PERIODICITY
Publicaciones en Ciencias y Tecnología is published every six months, with two editions identified as numbers 1 and 2, these making up the annual volume. The first number of each volume corresponds to the months January-June and the second number to July-December. Since 2021 this journal changes to the continuous publication modality, that is, to the extent that the works are approved, they are published in the open edition.
