Gerenciando teorias institucionais no equilíbrio de pressões internas: conformidade, eficiência e inovação em organizações por meio de uma revisão sistemática

O objetivo deste estudo consistiu em analisar sistematicamente, por meio de uma revisão da literatura contemporânea, como as teorias institucionais explicam o equilíbrio nas pressões externas das organizações que competem pela conformidade com as demandas internas de eficiência e inovação. As teorias institucionais têm fornecido uma estrutura sólida para compreender como as organizações são influenciadas pelo seu ambiente, em particular pelas normas sociais, expectativas culturais e pressões regulatórias. Para esta revisão, foi realizada uma busca bibliográfica utilizando gestores de bases de dados eletrônicas: Web of Science, Scopus, JSTOR e Google Scholar, que determinou nove (9) artigos com pertinência temporal entre 2020 e 2024. Considerando o critério de busca, foram usadas palavras-chave: (I) teoria institucional, (II) legitimidade organizacional, (III) isomorfismo. Como resultados, este artigo resume que as organizações gerenciam as pressões institucionais, equilibrando a necessidade de conformidade, eficiência interna e inovação com base na teoria institucional; determinam-se os mecanismos pelos quais as pressões institucionais influenciam o comportamento organizacional, incluindo as forças coercitivas, miméticas e normativas. Onde existem estratégias como o desacoplamento, acoplamento seletivo e o empreendedorismo institucional, que as organizações usam para equilibrar as demandas externas com as prioridades internas. A revisão conclui que uma abordagem holística, que combina essas perspectivas, é essencial para compreender como as organizações conseguem reconhecimento e garantem sua eficácia em meio às complexidades institucionais em mudança.
