To determine the knowledge that on the caries dental there have the 5 and 6-year-old children of the Pre-school one of the College The Sources and to design a plan of prevention of agreement to the obtained results. The type of investigation is of field, supported on a descriptive modality, since the investigator supports direct contact with the population to studying to reach the raised aims. The selected population they were the children of the Pre-school one of the College The Sources, and the sample was constituted by 40 children between 5 and 6 years of saying `preescolar. The compilation of information was realized by means of the application of a questionnaire shaped by questions of simple selection. One concludes that the 5 and 6-year-old children Of the Pre-school one of the College The Sources do not possess the sufficient information about the caries dental, one recommends to stimulate both in the children and in his parents the prevention of caries by means of the application of an educational plan on the caries which content agrees to the educational level of the children.
