Capacidades dinámicas e innovación en las organizaciones. Una revisión de la literatura y proposiciones básicas

Resumen

La teoría de las capacidades dinámicas ha sido crucial para entender los procesos de innovación que permiten la obtención de desempeños superiores y ventajas competitivas sostenibles por parte de las empresas. De allí, entonces, la importancia del surgimiento de todo el andamiaje teórico y empírico alrededor de la teoría de capacidades dinámicas que busca explicar de una manera más amplia el comportamiento de las organizaciones frente a los entornos cada vez más dinámicos y cambiantes. En este orden de ideas, el presente ensayo tiene como objetivo plantear algunas proposiciones a fin de vincular las capacidades dinámicas con el proceso de innovación. Ello, a través de la revisión y análisis de literatura relevante sobre el tema. Finalmente, como resultado se consideran tres componentes principales de las capacidades dinámicas: capacidad de absorción, capacidad de adaptación y capacidad de aprendizaje. Estas tres capacidades dinámicas pueden tener efectos positivos sobre la capacidad de innovación de la empresa, convirtiéndose así en uno de sus facilitadores.
