450 years from Galileo Galilei Birth
In 2014 it celebrates the 450th anniversary of the birth of Galileo Galilei (1564-1642), Italian astronomer, philosopher, engineer, mathematician and physicist. He is considered one of the fathers of the scientific method when incorporating measurement as an essential factor in modern science, being his main  contributions in the areas of Astronomy and Physics, challenging even the religious and scientific positions  of his time. The image of our cover refers to the Cosmovision of Galilei, and its main works.
