Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. Directrices del autor/a
  • The subject of the manuscript is within the areas of dissemination of the journal.
  • The manuscript complies with the norms of elaboration of works.
  • Submitted papers must be unpublished
  • The works must be of original production
  • The work has not been previously published or has not been simultaneously submitted for consideration in another journal or scientific dissemination body.
  • The information must be presented in Word 2003, Word 2007 or any other compatible program.
  • The author (s) will send the work to the REDINE email address redine@ucla.edu.ve), accompanied by a cover letter in which the originality of the content is declared, said letter must contain the names, identity card and signature of each author.
  • Sending papers to the journal Red de Investigación Educativa (REDINE) implies the obligation of the author or authors not to submit it simultaneously for consideration by other publications.
  • Papers whose text can be in Spanish and English will be received.
  • Acceptance of the transfer of copyright to the REDINE Magazine, in case the work is published.

Author Guidelines

Submission of manuscripts

  • Submitted works must be original and unpublished.
  • Works must be original productions.
    The journal does not charge authors for article processing.
  • Information must be submitted in Word 2003, Word 2007, or any other compatible program.
  • The author(s) should send the work to the REDINE email address redine@ucla.edu.ve, with a copy to uclaredine@gmail.com, along with
  • FORM1: SOLICITUD DE PUBLICACIÓN y FORMA2: CESIÓN DE DERECHO .
  • Submission of works to the Educational Research Network (REDINE) journal implies the obligation of the author(s) not to submit the work simultaneously to other publications.
  • Works in Spanish and English may be accepted.
  • Acceptance of the transfer of copyright to the REDINE Journal is required if the work is published.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The editorial team of Revista Electrónica REDINE, declares that with regard to the use of generative artificial intelligence, we adhere to the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • AI tools cannot be listed as authors in publications.
  • Authors should declare the use of AI preferably before the bibliographic references, or in a footnote to the article specifying each and every task for which it was used.
  • Reviewers for may not use AI during the manuscript review process, as this could jeopardize the intellectual property rights of the authors.
  • Researchers adhere to these ethical guidelines in order to ensure transparency and integrity in scientific production.

Publications Types

The journal will accept six (6) types of unpublished contributions:

  1. Scientific articles: These are all those research works carried out under various approaches and methodologies that present scientific rigor and that contribute advances in the area of ​​knowledge of the journal.
  2. Reflection Articles: A document that presents the results of completed research from the author's analytical, interpretive, or critical perspective on a specific topic. In other words, it takes a real-world phenomenon as its object of analysis, interprets it subjectively, supports its subjective viewpoints, and makes valid proposals and conclusions. It uses original sources.
  3. Essays: Written discourse in which the author presents their own views on a particular topic. An essay offers a personal interpretation of the subject and maintains a critical perspective on the topic under study.
  4. Papers or publications derived from events: These are established as contributions published in total or partial form from conferences, conventions, seminars, workshops, conferences and similar events, in areas related to educational research.
  5. Reviews: This is a two-to-three-page length containing a summary and a descriptive and/or analytical commentary on a book, article, or other published text.
  6. Biographies: present information related to a person's history and their contributions to the institution they belong to, providing facts and events that occurred at the institution. They should include the teacher's full name, date of birth, place of birth, and educational background, among other details.

Articles

  1. Artículos científicos: Son todos aquellos trabajos de investigación realizados bajo diversos enfoques y metodologías que presenten rigor científico y que aporten avances en el área de conocimiento de la revista.
  2. Artículos de Reflexión: Documento que presenta resultados de investigación terminada desde una perspectiva analítica, interpretativa o crítica del autor, sobre un tema en específico, es decir, toma como objeto de análisis un fenómeno de la realidad, la interpreta subjetivamente, apoya sus subjetividades y realiza propuestas y conclusiones válidas. Usa fuentes originales.

Essay

Discurso escrito donde el autor expone sus propios puntos de vista sobre un tema en particular. Un ensayo presenta una interpretación personal sobre el tema y mantiene una actitud crítica hacia el tópico objeto de estudio.

Biografy

Las biografías presentan información relacionada con la historia de una persona y sus aportes a la institución a la cual pertenece; brindando datos y hechos acontecidos en la institución a la cual pertenece o perteneció. Debe ir acompañado del nombre completo del docente, su fecha de nacimiento, lugar de nacimiento y estudios realizados, entre otros.

Book Reviews

La reseña, en una extensión de dos a tres cuartillas contiene el resumen y un comentario descriptivo y/o analítico realizado sobre un libro, un artículo u otro texto publicado.

Presentations or publications derived from events

They are established as contributions published in whole or in part of conferences, conventions, seminars, workshops, conferences and similar events, in areas related to educational research. It must contain the full name of the author or authors. Maximum four authors, ordered according to the contribution, indicating for each author their affiliation (institution, electronic address [e-mail] and country). The paper must have a maximum of 20 pages, the summary must be submitted in Spanish and English, with a maximum of 300 words. It will contain a brief introduction, objectives or purposes, methodology, results and conclusions or scientific contributions of the work.

Reflection Article

Presenta resultados de investigación terminada desde una perspectiva analítica, interpretativa o crítica del autor, sobre un tema en específico, es decir, toma como objeto de análisis un fenómeno de la realidad, la interpreta subjetivamente, apoya sus subjetividades y realiza propuestas y conclusiones válidas. Usa fuentes originales.
Nombre completo del autor o autores. Máximo cuatro autores, ordenados de acuerdo al aporte. Debe además indicar su filiación (institución, dirección electrónica y país).
El cuerpo del artículo deberá contener introducción, justificación del problema y marco de referencia. El contenido debe ser coherente con el titulo y los objetivos del artículo.
Conclusiones: Deberá reflejar el contenido esencial del artículo.
Referencias: Las referencias de los artículos deberán seguir las normas de estilo del sistema A.P.A. (American Psychological Association).
