Abstract

This year 2017, the International Council of Nursing CIE has chosen a fundamental slogan to celebrate the International Year of Nursing: "Nursing: a voice to lead and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals". The objective is to raise awareness within the nursing profession about what the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are and why they are important, secondly, between the population, governments and other decision-making bodies, about the contribution that nurses are already doing to achieve the SDGs. This toolkit offers an overview of the SDGs and their links to the nursing profession
