As part of the celebration of International Nursing Day in this 2024, we held it at our “Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado” (UCLA). Las Jornadas Internacionales  “The Smart Care. The Wisdom of Florence Nightingale in the Technological Era” during these conferences we focus our attention on the complex challenges that modern nursing faces today, where without doubt some technology presents itself as an indispensable ally, yet we ask ourselves what would be the opinion of Florence Nightingale about practical practice in these times of technological abundance? Nightingale defended himself with a passion?.
