Resumen

El objetivo es mapear las tecnologías educativas impresas disponibles en la literatura para la educación en salud de las personas con enfermedades cardiometabólicas. Se trata de una revisión de alcance con búsqueda realizada de julio a agosto de 2024, actualizada en noviembre y diciembre de 2024, en las siguientes bases de datos: PubMed/MEDLINE, Web of Science, Scopus, SciELO, LILACS, BDENF, BDTD, Capes y ProQuest Thesis and Dissertation Catalog. Se incluyeron 42 estudios en la muestra final de la revisión. Las tecnologías educativas impresas identificadas fueron cuadernillos, álbumes seriados, folletos, panfletos, carteles, juegos, manuales, cómics, carpetas, mapas de conversación y panel móvil. Estos recursos demostraron ser válidos y eficaces para mejorar aspectos como el conocimiento, el autocuidado, la calidad de vida, la adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico y no farmacológico, y el autocuidado del pie. Se concluye que las tecnologías educativas impresas son herramientas blandas-duras adecuadas, válidas y efectivas, que apoyan al paciente en el enfrentamiento del proceso salud-enfermedad-atención.
