Engajamento no Trabalho Tendências atuais e aspectos relevantes para a pesquisa

Os gestores procuram criar ambientes adequados para que os colaboradores experimentem o bem-estar físico e psicológico no trabalho, a fim de atingir os objetivos organizacionais em ambientes cada vez mais competitivos. Ao mesmo tempo, centros de pesquisa especializados estão tentando ajustar seus processos para atender às necessidades do mundo dos negócios. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo tem como objetivo revisar o tema engajamento no trabalho, a fim de conhecer a importância que os pesquisadores atribuem a ele, para o qual a base de dados Scopus foi investigada. Os resultados mostram que a produção científica sobre engajamento no trabalho, liderada por duas universidades na Holanda, está em franca expansão em diversas áreas de estudo, crescendo exponencialmente a uma taxa anual de 28,39%, que dobra a cada 2,44 anos, o que demonstra sua grande utilidade para os acadêmicos, consultores e o setor empresarial. Da mesma forma, é considerada uma variável chave na recuperação de setores empresariais, especialmente aqueles que sofreram pesadas perdas devido a fatores externos como o Covid-19, devido à sua grande influência ou interação com outras variáveis importantes de resultados organizacionais.
