BIOAGRO is a scientific journal of the Dean of Agronomy of the Universidad Centroccidental "Lisandro Alvarado" (UCLA), subsidized by the CDCHT that publishes original and unpublished scientific works in agricultural sciences. Its periodicity is quarterly and is published in the months of January, May and September. Each work is reviewed by at least two specialists in the area, external to the journal, on whose opinion the final acceptance depends. The instructions to the authors appear in the third number of the year and the index accumulated in the third number of even years. The journal publishes original and unpublished scientific papers in agricultural sciences that focus on aspects of agronomy, botany and plant propagation, entomology and zoology, soils, phytopathology and plant protection, agricultural engineering, genetics and plant improvement, ecology, industry and product processing. agricultural, biotechnology and social. Short articles can also be published in which scientific discoveries, technological developments and results of comprehensive diagnoses are presented, in the form of Technical Notes. In Venezuela, it is found in the libraries of all universities and higher education institutes that offer agronomic careers, as well as of the official agricultural research entities. Abroad, the journal reaches universities and / or agricultural research institutes in all Latin American countries as well as the United States, Canada and Spain.
