Colombia; The International Network of Researchers in Festival, Nation, and Culture Studies (REDRIEF); the Colombian Academy of History; Mayéutica, revista científica de humanidades y Artes of the Decanato de Humanidades y Artes of Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado, Venezuela; L'AMAP (Amitié des Peuples du monde) based in Paris, France; The Historical Archive of Barranquilla attached to the District Mayor's Office of Barranquilla; invite academic researchers, managers, teachers, students, experts in festive culture practices, and the general public to participate in the 8th International Meeting on Studies of Festivals, Nation, and Culture, to be held in the Colombian city of Barranquilla on October 28, 29, and 30, 2026. The 8th International Meeting will feature academic researchers from various countries in the Americas and regions of Colombia, as well as artistic performances of festive theater, dance, music, and festive events.

But even more significant was his kindness, affability, approachability, and simplicity. His very presence inspired an appreciation for the higher and spiritual virtues of the human being.
