Abstract

Speech delivered on March 9, 2017 at the Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA), on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the Licenciatura en Desarrollo Humano, by its founder and first director, Dr. Mauricio Iranzo Tacoronte, at the Ambrosio Oropeza Auditorium of this University.

Mauricio Iranzo Tacoronte, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello

Mauricio Iranzo Tacoronte, sociologist from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), Ph.D. from the University of Paris III, Sorbonne Nouvelle, France, in Regional Development Planning. Retired professor from Universidad Centroccidental Lisandro Alvarado (UCLA), Venezuela. Former Dean of Humanidades y Artes, founder and former Director of the Bachelor's Degree in Desarrollo Humano of this university. Member of Provita, Environmental Non-Governmental Organization, and Associate Research Professor at the Escuela de Ciencias Sociales of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (UCAB).
